This Grade II listed building with its distinctive facade was first built in 1775 and has since undergone an extensive refurbishment project, transforming the majority of the bedrooms and public areas. The on-site restaurant, Le Petit Beefbar, serves the finest cuts of beef from around the world, as well as a menu of cocktails, spirits, soft drinks and coffees. The restaurant is open Wednesday–Sunday only, but the bar is open seven days a week from 12.30 until 11pm. The hotel cafe Burr & Co. is a local favourite, serving drinks and a selection of cakes, pastries, sandwiches, and salads. It is open 8am–5pm. on weekdays and 9am–5pm on weekends.
